Our colleagues from the INC Invention Center on the RWTH Aachen Campus have published their new program for 2020. As an implementation partner, we look forward to being part of exciting cross-industry groups and studies on current trend topics in the coming year 2020.
Today the first global Hackthon ever started here at the INC Invention Center in Cooperation with KEX Knowledge Exchange AG. Over 90 students from 3 countries will work on 3 real Use Cases of Covestro within the next 4 days within a global Science Challenge.
The winning teams will then have the opportunity to pitch their results at the Chemalytix conference on 12.12.2019.
To develop efficient processes for producing fuel cells in an efficient industry-scale, KEX AG formed up a team with well-known Fraunhofer-Institute for Production Technology (IPT) and RWTH Aachen Werkzeugmaschinenlabor (WZL) at the RWTH Aachen Campus. Both institutes have comprehensive experience and competencies in production technology and deliver an ideal infrastructure for practical research of the production processes.
The new consortium project "Building Blocks of Artificial Intelligence" was launched on 12 July 2019. During the kick-off event, experts from IfU & IMA, PADS, TIME Research Area (all RWTH Aachen), Fraunhofer IPT, Fraunhofer SIT and INC Invention Center Munich met with our cross-industry consortium consisting of 15 industry partners from various industries to discuss their expectations regarding the benefits of applied AI technologies in industrial ecosystems.
